Sharon Shannon & Family Born in Ruan, County Clare, Sharon Shannon is one of Ireland’s most beloved and internationally acclaimed folk artists. She is a multi-instrumentalist known for her ability to weave traditional Irish music with modern genres, has redefined Irish folk’s boundaries. Irish President Michael D. Higgins has lauded her as “A National Treasure,” a title befitting an artist whose career spans over four decades. Having released over 20 albums, headlined iconic venues across the globe, and collaborated with the biggest names in music, Sharon continues to innovate.
Sharon will be joined on stage by her sisters Majella and Mary and her brother Garry and their children. Majella, Mary and Garry are highly regarded, well renowned musicians and teachers in their own right.
